One of my favorite Valentine’s Day treats to make is this festive Valentine Heart Bark – it’s colorful, easy, and always a hit with loved ones. I love how customizable it is, making it perfect for gifting or enjoying with family on a cozy February evening! You can read more about this recipe here.

Servings: 8-10 pieces

Ingredients:

Instructions:

  1. Line the cookie sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the brown chocolate melts in a microwave safe bowl in 30 second intervals until the its liquid and smooth.
  3. Pour the chocolate over the cookie sheet and use a spatula to spread it out evenly across the parchment paper.
  4. Place the cookie sheet in the fridge for 5 minutes to solidify.
  5. While the chocolate is in the fridge, break some of your pretzel bows in half. Place all the pretzels to the side to use later.
  6. Melt the pink, white, and red chocolate melting wafers in separate bowls following the same melting instructions as above.
  7. Take turns pouring small portions each color of melting chocolate over the brown chocolate.
  8. Moving quickly use a toothpick or knife to drag the colors into each other  horizontally, clean the knife and drag it again vertically to create a marble pattern.
  9. Next sprinkle the candy coated chocolates, pretzel pieces, and sprinkles all over the chocolate.
  10. Place the chocolate in the fridge for 10-15 minutes solidify.
  11. Heat up a cup of water to make it hot and place it near(but not next to) the cookie sheet.
  12. Place the cookie cutter in the hot water to warm it up, quickly take it out using a fork and wipe it with a paper towel.
  13. Press the warm cookie cutter into the chocolate on the cookie sheet to create heart shape cookie bark.
  14. Repeat this step until you have cut out your desired number of hearts. You may need to re dip the cutter to keep it warm, so you can cut out all of your hearts.
  15. Spray the Hearts with edible glitter for extra flare.
  16. Place the bark on a flat surface, Serve and Enjoy!

2. Strawberry Crunch Party Mix Recipe (Chex Mix)

This Strawberry Crunch Party Mix is a crowd-pleaser that combines sweet and crunchy in the most irresistible way. I always enjoy whipping up a batch to share during Valentine’s celebrations – it’s fun, festive, and gone in no time! You can read more about this recipe here.

Ingredients:

Instructions:

  1. Grind the freeze dried strawberries with coffee grinder, blender, or simply just smash them inside of Ziplock bag.
  2. Combine the ground freeze dried strawberries with the powdered sugar.
  3. Put the strawberry shortcake crunch in another ziplock bag.
  4. Put the white candy melts in a microwave safe bowl and melt them in 30 second intervals, stirring in between until the chocolate is melted and smooth.
  5. Pour 10 ounces of the Chex mix into the bowl of melted chocolate, mix it up with a spatula and make sure all the Chex mix is completely covered.
  6. Scoop out half the chocolate covered Chex mix, place it in the bag with the strawberry shortcake crunch crumbles and place the other half of the Chex mix in the strawberry powdered sugar mixture.
  7. Make sure the ziplock bag is closed completely and then shake it to make sure all the Chex mix gets covered.
  8. Repeat this step for the bag with the strawberry shortcake crunch mixture.
  9. Pour both strawberry Chex mixes on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper to dry.
  10. Add your uncovered Chex mix, in with the covered mix.
  11. Next sprinkle the valentine sprinkles and candy coated chocolates all over the strawberry shortcake Chex mix.
  12. Let the mix dry and then put the Strawberry Chex mix blend on a dish.
  13. Serve and enjoy the deliciousness!

3. White Chocolate Valentine’s Crockpot Candy

  1. In a crockpot, add the peanuts, pretzels, almond bark, and white chocolate chips.
  2. Cook on low for 1 hour.
  3. Stir well.
  4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, and drop scoops of nut and chocolate mixture onto the parchment paper.
  5. Top with sprinkles.
  6. Transfer the baking sheet to the refrigerator to chill for 1 hour.

  2. Use the heart cutters to cut out hearts, getting as close to the edges of the pan and other cutouts as you can to maximize your brownie hearts.
  3. Arrange brownie hearts on a parchment lined baking sheet.
  4. Add the white chocolate chips to a microwave safe bowl and heat in the microwave for 30 second intervals, stirring well between each heat session, until fully melted.
  5. Use a spoon to carefully drip melted chocolate into the center of the brownies (one at a time), then use the tip of the end of the spoon to work the chocolate to the edges. Doing this step carefully and slowly will ensure that you don’t make a mess dripping chocolate down the sides of the brownie.
  6. Immediately top with sprinkles as the chocolate will set quickly.
  7. Allow chocolate to fully set, then enjoy!
